Abstract

In this paper, the aims of my dissertation research are presented. The first is to investigate how the car use of Swedish house-holds with children differs be-tween three residential areas offering varying access to work, services and re-cre-a-tional areas. The second aim is the analyze of time-spatial constraints on the daily activity patterns of men and women in the three areas. The results from a small pilot study will be intro-duced.
