This essay presents a formal communiqué from the 2025 Orvieto Leadership Summit on Creative Insights for Transformational Human Decision Making, an interdisciplinary gathering of leaders from science, the arts, business, public policy and academia. Convened in Orvieto, Italy, the Summit explored how neuroscientific insight, deliberative democratic practice and human-centred artificial intelligence can strengthen decision making in an era of technological disruption. The communiqué synthesises the Summit’s discussions, guiding principles and shared conclusions, emphasising the importance of empowering human agency through technology, fostering interdependent leadership grounded in dialogue, and ensuring the equitable distribution of technological benefits across generations.
