About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Journal has in the almost 15 years since its conception enjoyed publishing contributions from prominent scholars especially in the fields of international contract and sales law. However, the journal welcomes contributions of an international or Nordic character from all authors. The change in the journal's management means that the lost tradition of publishing Commentaries, Reports, and Notes will be revived, giving in particular young researchers an opportunity to communicate their work to a wider international audience. 

Peer Review Process

The journal facilitates double blind peer review.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes articles on a rolling basis. Twice a year these articles are encapsulated in an issue. Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Issues from 2017 and later are licensed under the CC BY 4.0 license with authors retain copyright to their work and grant the journal right of first publication. There are no publication charges for authors publishing in the journal.

Journal History

The Journal has since its conception in 2003 enjoyed publishing contributions from prominent scholars especially in the fields of international contract and sales law. The change in the journal's management in 2016 meant that after almost 15 with Turku University, the responsibility for the journal moved to Aalborg University.
