Ankita Behal, RMIT University, Australia

Ankita is a fashion professional with a background in garment production, design coordination, and merchandising, experienced in overseeing the entire product lifecycle from sourcing materials to delivery. Her passion lies in embedding sustainability and circular economy principles into the fashion industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Entrepreneurship, where her research centered on applying circular economy strategies to the school uniform sector. This included conducting material flow analyses, life cycle assessments, and exploring end-of-life solutions such as reuse, repair, and take-back programs.
