About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Journal of Coaching Psychology aims to serve as a significant Danish forum for the discussion of coaching psychology practice and research within fields such as life coaching, executive coaching, organizational coaching, sports coaching, integrative coaching, and a wide range of paradigms including psychodynamic coaching, cognitive coaching, humanistic coaching, systemic coaching, narrative coaching, etc.
The Journal of Coaching Psychology is a peer-reviewed journal and primarily publishes articles and commentaries in Danish, but also includes a section in which English-language articles appear. We welcome all contributions that, from a psychological perspective, discuss coaching psychology practice and research, its challenges, perspectives, and theoretical foundations.
Peer Review Process
The journal uses a double-blind peer review process, meaning that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
When the editorial team receives a manuscript, the submission is first reviewed, after which it is normally sent (without author identification) to two members of the editorial board. Within a typical timeframe of 4–6 weeks, the editorial board members assess whether:
- The manuscript can be accepted for publication without further revision, or
- The manuscript can be accepted subject to revisions, with detailed guidance provided, or
- The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal.
