About the Journal

QuiViRR is gratis open access (◈) with zero subscription charges and zero article processing charges (APC).

The journal accepts a variety of submission types, some of which are subject to blind peer review. The types of submissions include:

Details about each of these types can also be found when making a new submission and selecting the section type.

For some types of submissions, in consultation with the editors, authors will be given the choice if they wish their submission to undergo peer review, editorial review or open review in several flavours.

For some content, post-publication comments are permitted on the HTML version of the publication using hypothes.is.

Some published content will be also available on GitHub, where opportunities exist for version control, issue tracking and project boards that support collaborative authoring, post-publication corrections/additions and perpetual releases.

All content published in QuiViRR will receive a DOI number.

Unless otherwise stated, the authored content is published with a license. Copyright remains with the author/creator(s).

The journal is hosted by the Aalborg University Open Publishing at the AAU Library. The journal is guaranteed to be indefinitely archived either by the Aalborg University Library or by the Danish state library service.
