Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Make sure to use the template for all submissions.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, DOIs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

It is only possible to submit an article online. The link is here. First time users must register in order to submit. Article's must be submitted in a word document format using this template: Link to template

 

Articles

  • Manuscripts must include:

    • Title and subtitle

    • Author name(s)

    • Short academic CV (approx. 300 characters per author; no email addresses)

    • English abstract (max. 1000 characters including spaces)

    • Five keywords

  • The abstract must always be in English, regardless of the article’s language. If the article is not in English, include an English translation of the title at the beginning of the abstract.

  • Use:

    • Arial for headings

    • Times New Roman, 12 pt for body text

    • Times New Roman, 10 pt for endnotes

  • Please use the Chicago Author–Date citation style.

  • References must appear in a separate “References” section at the end of the manuscript.

  • Use endnotes rather than footnotes, and only when necessary.

  • Short quotations should appear in the running text with quotation marks. Longer quotations should be presented as indented block quotations.

  • Manuscripts should be carefully proofread before submission.

  • Authors are responsible for securing permissions for copyrighted material.

  • Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
