Call for Papers
Logic and Philosophy of Time, Volume 8
Logic and Theology: Prior, Gödel, and Scholz

In collaboration with Münster University, the editorial team of Logic and Philosophy of Time is pleased to invite submissions for Volume 8. This volume was prompted by a conference in Münster in November 2025 about logic and theology, where researchers on Arthur Prior, Kurt Gödel, and Heinrich Scholz were present. The conference revealed the extent to which our work converged in two respects: the transcription of previously unpublished material, and the demonstration of substantive connections between logic and theology.
This volume therefore focuses mainly on the interaction between logic, metaphysics, and theology. It should, however, be taken broadly, as it ranges from historically oriented papers to contributions to the contemporary debate. Submissions could address:
• Historical investigations in relation to Scholz, Gödel and Prior.
• Logic and philosophical theology.
• Themes relevant to the current debates about time, modality, freedom, and related topics
The journal is published online and offers free access to all its content. The first seven volumes of Logic and Philosophy of Time are available at our website: https://journals.aau.dk/index.php/logic/issue/archive.
