Danish Journal of Transportation Research - Danish Journal of Transport Research closes with the release of its 6th volume (2024)
Aalborg, December 2023
Danish Journal of Transportation Research – Dansk Tidsskrift for Transportforskning has been a peer-reviewed online academic journal publishing research in the field of transportation, including related areas such as mobility, traffic safety, freight, and logistics, among others.
DJTR has been the only peer-reviewed journal for transport research in Scandinavia, allowing publications in the Scandinavian languages.
The journal originated from the annual conference Trafikdage at Aalborg University, where there was a desire to subject the published articles to peer review, even if they were in Scandinavian languages. After 5 years, the editorial team acknowledges that this desire has been limited, and concurrently, the "competition" in the journal market has grown significantly during this period.
Therefore, we are now closing the journal and express our gratitude to both the editorial team and our peer reviewers for their work on the journal.
Finally, we want to emphasize that all articles undergoing peer review will be completed and published in the journal's 2024 issue.
Best regards,
Dalia Stakenaite (Editorial Secretary) and Harry Lahrmann (Editor-in-Chief)
P.S.
All articles from Trafikdage at Aalborg University (proceedings) from the last 30 years can still be found here:
