Smutturen reveales hidden values in the nature

Abstract

"Smutturen" meaning "The short trip" is basically a selected list of 50 unique places in Danish nature. To make it easy for users to find these places, we have developed a geo-oriented website, Smutturen.dk, which serves as a planning tool for the target group. Explore smutturen.dk (in Danish) yourself to see how it works. The purpose is to make visible and strengthen special places in the Danish nature, and the goal is to help attract more visitors to the places in question and document the development as a tool for local development and commitment. That is why Realdania has financed and developed Smutturen. The project is a collaboration between Danish Coastal and Nature Tourism, the Danish Nature Agency and VisitDenmark.
