About the Journal
Geoforum Perspektiv is a peer-reviewed online journal published by Geoforum Danmark and Aalborg University Open Publishing. The aim of the Journal is to enhance the ongoing research within the field of geospatial information.
The journal is indexed in DOAJ (Dictionary of Open Access Journal). The journal is also indexed in the Kanalregisteret (Norwegian list).
Current Issue
This issue is a collection of papers submitted in 2025 for no planed thematic issue.
The journal Geoforum Perspektiv subdivides the papers into three categories: Editorial, Peer-reviewed papers and Other papers. In this publication we so far have one paper from the latter category.

The journal is published with three publications per year. One publication is a theme publication focusing on an editorial topic (please see announcements), one publication contains articles from Geoforum's annual conference, Kortdage, and one publication is a collection of articles that did not find their way into the other two publications.
The journal is published online free of charge and adheres to the Open Access Initiative, which aims to facilitate the dissemination of electronic content. Read more about this under Editorial Policies.
